Pub Quiz Nights at The Eagle

Every Tuesday from 7pm

Have you got what it takes to compete with the best?

Every Tuesday night at The Eagle in Old Amersham you can test your pub quiz prowess against the best of the best.

If you know how many time zones there are in Russia (11), what the national flower of Japan is (Cherry blossom), and how many stripes there are on the US flag (13) then this could be your chance to sweep the board and claim all the glory of being this week's Pub Quiz Night Champion.

The Details

Entry Fees and Prizes:

The usual pre-Covid entry fees apply of a couple of quid per team, and the prizes also operate on the same basis as before. Rollovers can and do happen with some of the prize money so do make sure you book your table well in advance to secure your place for the weekly Pub Quiz Night.

Times:

The Pub Quiz officially starts at 7.30pm on Tuesday evenings and we ask all teams to be ready and seated well before this time.

Table availability:

Our Pub Quiz Night is only run inside at The Eagle. There is no availability for quiz teams to sit outside in our fabulous beer garden at the moment.

Tables are limited so it is advisable to book ahead to secure your table for your team. Due to the ongoing Covid regulations we are not able to be flexible on this or to allow people to "perch" on various corners or ledges. It's table bookings only for now.

How to Book:

Bookings are currently handled through our normal online booking system here. Please make sure you indicate in the text box that you are booking for the Pub Quiz Night so that we know to allocate you a table inside The Eagle.

PLEASE NOTE: Bookings that come in without this note will be allocated to tables outside in the beer garden and will not be able to take part in the Quiz.

Covid Guidelines:

Current Government Guidelines apply so that means team sizes are limited, masks must be worn when you're moving around (unless you are medically exempt), and no mingling between tables and teams. Your safety and that of all of our customers and staff is paramount and we ask you to respect this at all times.
